Actually they itselves don't do much harm (the place can only hurt) but they're pointing to us that the blood is having difficulty to return from the legs, which in the future can cause bigger problems, like stasis ulceration on the skin (because of the stop of venous circulation and other factors that i have to read on the book the area is much susceptible to a ulceration that can get deep and infected, as bad as a ulceration that a diabetic who doesn't take care of his/her condition have).
I'm confused, because i thought that spider veins were telangiectasias (because they call in portuguese too - aranhas vasculares).
