Help my moms hair!

Well, my mom is 45 if that makes a difference. She has really thick, coarse, wavy hair that is a little longer than shoulder length. When she lets it airdry, she gets a huge, frizzy, poofy afro. She doesnt know what to do, and I know someone here will have great advice for her.

She doesnt want to have to go out and buy salon products.....those are her last resort. So, is there any specific shampoo and conditioner she should try? I was thinking maybe the Sunsilk for Frizzy hair. I am actually waiting for a sample of it to come in the mail for her. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Has she tried a leave in conditioner as these are far more conditioning and smooth the hair down.

Try Frizz Ease products.

I guess i should have added that she has tried frizz-ease, and it gave her try scalp (she has a dry scalp to begin with). Sorry that I left that out!

A hot oil treatment might be helpful as well. They're cheap and easy if you use the VO5 kind.
