I dyed my hair today by myself, and it got all around my face, near my hair.

I got most of it off and its not as bad, but should it go fade away?

HELP!!!

by the way im FLIPPING OUT OF MY HEAD.

I do this everytime I dye my hair and dye gets on to my skin.

This will sound really extreme but dampen a wash cloth and tap on a few flakes of ajax, comet type cleanser. Wipe the clothe where ever you have dye on your skin. Rince VERY well. This should remove all dye.

do you guys think i could do those in the morning?

since i pretty much made my skin very red from rubbing the dye of my skin with soap? [major mistake!]

I think you could...but it might not get everything off the first time...depending on the amount of hair color u got on ur skin and what color it was :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

And btw itll go away by itself in like 2 or 3 days....its happened to me a ton of times when i was younger...but the best thing to do is use the rubbing alcohol right after youre done coloring your hair

Its not much anymore. But its kind of stuck on my scalp right on were my hair starts.

And i have a few specks right before the hair starts. Its not much, but its not enough to make me wanna not go to school on monday!

Its a light purplish color [i dyed my hair dark brown almost black]

but its very sore, because i rubbed my skin REAL hard.. i was in a panic.

so do you think i should use some rubbing alcohol maybe before bed tonight? and if its not fully gone use it in the morning too? And if i'm lucky any of the rest will fade away by monday?

I'd the rubbing alcohol now but, my skin is.. just awful now.

yeah let your skin rest a little and use it before you go to bed...then tomorrow take a shower..wash your hair and face..then afterwards use the rubbing alcohol again...ive had those purple stains too when i had black hair..they suck lol!

ahh, thank you for your advice.

you saved my life! lol.

I was in such a panic before, lol.

No problem...hope it works out for ya! next time before you color your hair...put some vaseline along your hairline where you normally get color stains...!

Sarahgr is giving good advice but I question washing hair the day after dying it.

If the alcohol doesn't work, don't be afraid to try the comet trick - just rince off the skin right away, that any comet touched.

well i dunno if it would be bad to wash your hair the next day? :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />...I used to color my hair black or dark alot and alot thered always be some dye left in my scalp and hairline so i just always washed it the next day to get it off..also cause dark hair dye normally smells a bit...it was never a problem for me...but i always had it done with "salon" colors so maybe its different if you do it with store bought colors :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

****WONDERFUL TIP!!!!****

Hair dye removes hair dye!

If you get it on your skin while doing it, put your fingers in your hair with the dye in it (or squeeze a little from the unused stuff) and then rub it on the spot and right after just wipe it away with a damp cloth! It works everytimes :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I know what does not help you now, but for the future :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have used a cotton ball saturated with SeaBreeze (astringent) on my hair dyed skin & it works wonders. I usually keep it on hand before I start to dye my hair because I always get it on my skin....Good Luck

You are not going to believe this-but Vodka!!!!! Works everytime. Pour the cheapest vodka on a washcloth and dab on. Skin will fell better, you will feel better and if it fails turn up the bottle and have a snort. LOL

It might sound pretty weird, but cigarette ashes...

Mix some with water and rub it at the stain.
