Bigelow Chapped Hands Cleanser and I really like it. I use it because we don't use a dishwasher at home so I need to keep my hands soft and not dry, I really hate the dry feeling. I didn't know anybody made a cleanser for chapped hands. That is an excellent suggestion. I'll have to look for this product.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet...but i love the L'Occitane 20% shea butter hand cream. i got my mom and girlfriends hooked on it...even my male cubicle neighbor asks to use it

L'Occitane also makes a shea butter hand scrub - I never tried it but I've had good experiences from the shea butter line!

The Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream, it's honestly the best stuff I've used, not the most pleasent smell but it's so thick and concentrated and even when you wash your hands they don't feel dry and stripped. Dove Regenerating Night Cream (and the day time one) are good too!

I also vote for Glysomed. I started using it on my tattoos when they were first done, worked amazing. I use it all the time now. I also love Gold Bond Ultimate. It was recomended to me by nurse, nurses wash their hands constantly and this stuff really kept her hands from drying out.

Glysomed Hand Cream is deffinetly the best, i swear by it!! i use it all winter long and its amazing

Huge Glysomed fan here, but I also like the Body Shop Intensive hand rescue, i think its coconut oil.

body shop hemp hand protector is very good and i have heard so much about the l'occitane range.

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing lotion - it's awesome. Working in a preschool/day care center, we all have to wash our hands 100 times a day, and we're all totally addicted to this stuff. It's made here in Chattanooga, and one of our former parents worked for the company and kept us supplied; now our director buys it for the staff bathroom so everyone can "lotion up" after they "wash up"!

I also recommend Eucerin products - they're awesome. I use Eucerin's Aquaphor ointment anytime I need extra healing anywhere on my body - from burns to cracked heels to hemorrhoids!

I went to C&E today to check out these hand creams. They are truly awesome, plus everything was 20% off! I got the large size Summer Hill and Nantucket Briar hand creams, plus a set of 4 small size hand creams that contains the Rosewater, Summer Hill, La Source, and Gardener varieties. I am really impressed with this stuff! Thanks so much for your suggestion.

if you have eczema, definatly try Ahava hand cream. Its hypo-allegenic and its made from dead sea minerals which helps sooth and heal your eczema. also, keep in mind to try products that are water based, and avoid things with mineral oil. it can dry out your skin.

Hi, I suffer from eczema on my hands, but after treating it with prescription cream with my GP, I began using the body shop hemp hand cream (for extremely dry skin) every night before i go to bed. I haven't been back to the doctors for a prescription for steroid cream for over a year! Even though it's really cold here now, my hands are still super soft, with no signs of cracking or bubbling.

See how you go with the Crabtree & Evelyn ones, but if you're looking for something else I would definately recommned the body shop hemp cream.

I also agree that your handwash is important, I don't use any specialist ones, but I do always buy the moisturising variety.

And if you're looking for an extra moisture boost, put your hand cream on at night and then put on a pair of thin cotton gloves (can also be bought from the body shop i think!). This really helps the cream absorb, making skin super soft, and also works well with feet too, although it does feel a bit wierd at first!
