I've put off having my hair cut again until I know what I want done with it. I like that it's long-ish but the style I had has completely grown out and it just looks unkempt and scraggly.

I've also been wondering whether to have it dyed or not. I've always been put off by my mum telling me stories of how she started dying her hair at 14 and it just made her go grey faster, therefore she had to keep on dying it. I don't want to lose my natural colour but I fancy a dramatic change. Would a semi-permanent dye strip my natural colour at all?

My face is kind of round and I was wondering if an angled cut or something would suit my face shape better. Would having waves put in it make it look rounder? I used to have a fringe but would that be a no-go? I don't fancy side-fringes anymore. Also, I'm pale and I don't know if I'd like to be a bit bold and emphasize that by going darker or if that would be silly.

Simply put, after all that rambling, I don't know.

Here's how it looks now. Argh. As you can see there's an outgrown side-fringe going on. It's lighter than the picture shows. I could have done with brushing my hair a bit better but I'd just got back from work and wasn't in the best of moods.

dyeing your hair will not make you go grey faster.

(i used to think when i was younger if i dyed my hair a color i would lose my natural) but dont worry you wont, while the hair that you dye you may not be able to get back to your natural, all the new hair growing in will be your natural color.

i am not sure what you mean by "strip your color" but a demi or semi means deposit only. this means you can not lighten your hair with it. and it will fade over time (though if you go drasticly diffrent it will most likely not fade 100%).

also if you say it is lighter than the pictures show you are most likely a dark blonde. in which case be carefull with how dark you dye your hair because (from personal experience) if you go to dark when your hair grows in it could end up looking like you are balding

as for the waves i would skip them, perms plus coloring is not the best idea (also pers can sometimes lighten your hair color) it looks as though you have a slight wave to your hair so you may want ot play with ways of styling it that will bring that out.

^I agree, dying your hair doesn't make it go grey faster than it would if you didn't dye it.

I think maybe a angular bob without a fringe would look good on you.

Depending on what colour semi permanent dye you use is shouldn't strip your hair of your natural colour, they just fade but sometimes they can leave a tiny bit of colour (I think that would mainly be if you wanted to go really dark though)

I think a redish brown would be gorgeous on you!

Your hair wont get grey b/c of processing it. Thats a myth.

I think you would love a choppy layerd hairdo.

If you meet with a skilled hairdresser, he or she should be able to cut your hair in a way that make your hair fall beatiiful around your face.

How about this style, medium long hair.

I think it would be good on you.
