Hair lightening?

I want to possibly lighten my hair, but I tan super dark in the summer whether or not I want to. My hair is naturally black. I want to go subtle and natural for a change, so it'll probably be brown. Will I need to redo it once my skin darkens? I'm afraid of my hair and face ending up the same color!

Go for a semi which will fade within a few weeks

That way as your skin darkens you can change your hair accordingly

So will a rinse cover my natural black hair color and lighten it? Will my natural color look faded when the dye comes out?

the color will fade as you wash your hair, but at least you get to see what it will look like before going permanent. jmho~
