i everyone. im having a bunch of hair problems and really need some help. here they are

1. damage/dry- my hair is sooo damaged and dry from blow drying, flat ironing, coloring, etc and i cant seem to get its health back. i use great shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioners, and get trims a lot. none of it seems to help much. im starting to feel like there is nothing i can do

2. frizzy/wavy- my hair is naturally very frizzy and wavy (not in a good way). i have been using a flat iron to straighten my hair everyday, but even when i do this it doesnt look very good. i finally found a way to make it look pretty good- section it off and blow dry each strand with a roller brush. this takes over an hour and i do not have the time or energy for that.

does anyone else have frizzy/wavy hair like this? what do you all do with it? and any tips on the damage would be great. thanks so much

Even though I have stick straight hair, I think I can be of some assistance to you. Blowdrying, flat ironing, and using a round bruch everyday on your hair isn't particularly good for it. I am thinking that it is dry because you may be washing it too much and stripping out its essential oils. Have you tried letting it dry naturally? Or maybe blowdrying it every other day? It sounds like you are fighting your hair instead of working with it, and it's now mad at you. I know my hair will get mad at me if I try to put too many products in it. Not sure what is going on. Hope some of this helps.

I used to have the exact same problem w/my hair. I straightened w/the CHI, blowdry, colored etc .... and i thought my hair was beyond repair .. lol

Here's what i would recommend:

1. checking out this thread for every1's HG haircare/products : What are your haircare holy grails and hair type?

- HSH -I love HealthySexyHair Shampoo and Conditioner

-Biolage Hydratherapie- a deep conditioner will make all the difference in the world to restore your hair back to health .. and i'm not even exagerating.

2. Airdry your hair Although it might take awhile, allow your hair to airdry, u'll be glad u did. and your hair will love u more ... lol

3. Use a heat protectant on days when u just have to flatIron - Maxtrix makes a realli good one.

4. Do Not try to brush thru your hair wet ! Use a detangling comb, (looks kinda like a fork .. i guess .. ) and comb through hair instead

Great info Kim! Thanks! I'm with Kim on the HSH... It's worked WONDERS beyond even what I imagined for me, and I have the same problem (well, I HAD) as you before I started using it!

thanks for all the help! i think im gona try to wear it wavy for awhile because i think the blowdrying/straightening is whats causing most of the damage. when i let it air dry it is frizzy and wavy, but not a pretty kind of wavy. does anyone have any tips on how make it pretty wavy without using any heat on it? thanks
