Hair coloring

which is better, to get your hair colored at the hair salon or do it by your self. does it make a difference? if i color my hair at the salon will it last longer? advice please. thank you

Most salon brands are formulated for superior results as opposed to home kits, and unless you have experience with color, you should always go to a salon... at least the first few times, and especially if you are doing a drastic change. Touch ups and one process colors can usually be done at home, but you would probably need some practice with how your hair reacts.
