hey everyone! Okay, i have to admit, i love coloring my hair! And i'm in need of a touch up. I origianlly have black hair, but right now it's a golden brownish. I usually use Loreal Feria, but i think i want to try something new this time. I need something that wont dry out my hair so much. So if anyone has ANY advice or expierience please let me know! Thnx!

I've also heard a lot bout root-touch up products that guarentee to match your current hair color, but i've never tried it in fear of it not matching my color. So if anyone knows of a root-touch up product that acutally works and matches the hair color, please let me know!

thnx again!

When you dye your hair, do you just colour the roots/regrowth or do you put the dye on all of your hair?

I touch up the regrowth and leave on dye 45 minutes (lots of gray).

Every other dye, I put dye all over my hair for 15 minutes.

By not redying my hair every month, it is not dried out.

I have only seen the Nice N Easy retouch kits.

I think they are a waste of money - no cheaper than buying a full kit.

But I use Nice N Easy hair colour. The colour would match quite well.

hmm...i think maybe you should deep condition your hair two to three times per week with a really good deep conditioner.

...and go ahead and try one of those color matching root touch up kits. they sound pretty good. and they do guarantee to match any color..

:rockwoot:

I agree. I too love to experiment with color and now I just decided that I wanted my hair to be a dark chocolate brown. More importantnly, I wanted it to be healthy and shiny. I went to a hair dresser and he did an awesome job. Sometimes its worth it to pay the extra money for it.
