Janelle-

though I am going to try out the HSH line today, I wanted to get your thoughts on the Kerastase line. It seems to be all I here about these days! I know it is on the pricey side, but when it comes to my hair, money is no object.

Have you used it or heard much of it?

Thanks

Cass

I've heard good reviews, but I've never really used it... I had a sample once that wasn't bad, but I didn't really see that much of a change from what I was currently using to make me switch. It's made by L'Oreal --- and a lot of their pro lines are pretty good, but I would see if you can find sample or travel sizes first to see if you like it before going for the whole cost.

'COurse, this was posted before I tried HSH, so I don't think I will need that insanely priced shampoo now

Just looking for any more ideas I can find to get my hair as healthy as possible. I am also trying to stay away from those "shine serums", as I hear they are not good, long term.

Ideas, suggestions??? I am dying to get to a higher post level so I can view your hair drying tutorial!!!!!!

Thanks,

Cass

Hi CassBH:I don't understand your current posting about Soymilk shampoo, conditioner, and TriWheat.

Is that the same as HSH that Janelle loves so much. What are you actually using right now. I love shine serums. What do you mean not good long term.

i've never tried keraste but i heard that the l'oreal provive line is equivilent to the

keraste line. and that pretty much whatever is in the keraste line, you can find almost

its cheaper match in the L PV line

I don't possibly think I could even try another hair care line since meeting HSH! Never used this brand/product before though!

sheila,
Yes, those products are the ones from the HSH line. As far as shine serums, I have heard (as well as read on some posts here) that using shine serums too much, too often isn't great for your hair. Not sure why, maybe Janelle can jump in on that one. I have noticed personally that if I have been using serums a lot, my hair seems drier than ever without them...the very situation I am trying to correct!

I never used to use any product on my hair and I had great hair. When my hair started getting kinda icky instead of trying to get it back to healthy I just started using product. I definitly need to go another route!!!

Well, if you are planning on using those 3 products from the HSH line, then that should definitely help!
