I was thinking to try a gradual tanner for the body! There are so many in the market, Loreal Sublime Glow, Dove Sunshine, Nivea's and Garnier's. Any thoughts? Have you try any of these? I usually do not tan in summer, even if I'm all day on beach that's why I want to try a gradual tanner since they're easier than self tanners.

Jergan's Natural glow is pretty good...and I like Neutrogena, it dries within 5 minutes, so you don't have to stand there for a while and let it dry.

So what is the difference between a gradual tanner and a self tanner? i thought it was pretty much the same.

The gradual tanner doesn't go on as dark..building up the color each time you use it.

I use Johnson's Holiday Skin and I like it. It doesn't streak and it gives you a nice 'real tan' colour not that orange, artificial look.

I use Coppertone® Endless Summer® Gradual Tan Moisturizing Lotion. I like that alot. It's been awhile since I've used it. I don't recall any strong odor. I know that was a problem with some of them. Jergen's Natural Glow is great too. I like Coppertone's pump dispenser over the squeeze tube of Jergen's.

Olay Touch of Sun! Comes in 2 formulas for normal and dry skin! It's easy to apply and has a scent that I actually like. I know you're just looking for a body tanner but Olay's touch of Sun for face is also the best face one I've tried if you're interested

I`ve been using the Dove one for around a week.

I think its terrific, goes on well has a nice pleasant smell not like some that stink of wet biscuits!

I like Jergens, I could see a small glow after one use. Btw: Be sure to get the one that is what you are not what you want, for instance I'm medium so that's what I got, medium/tan is for dark girls. Also you aren't supposed to exfoliate for more than one time a week and I think it makes you more suseptible to the sun. Good luck, I hope you find one that you like.

Oil of Olay Radiance Revive is the only one I've tried that doesn't stink like self tanner. I've tried Jergens, Coppertone, and several other brands and they all stink except for Olay.

i have jergen's, but the problem is, it is hard to get even color around the ankles and feet. it stinks too, but at least it doesn't streak. my boyfriend told me it was a nice color at first, but as it got darker i looked orange. i'm gonna try johnson's next.

After trying a few different ones and hating the smell and greasiness, I tried Banana Boat since it was the only one I noticed that was oil free. I really like the clean fresh scent, and since it is oil free it does not feel as oily on my skin as the Jergens did. I still use Jergens face though, since I really like that, and it does not smell and is oil free and gives a great glow.

My friend uses Jergens too. It looks really nice one her because she is very pale. It is very natural looking too but it is not so light that you wont notice it.

Do you do anything special, or just slap it on ! Like exfoliate before or after a while to avoid some sort of build up? Is the colour even on your knees and ankles etc?
