Going from blonde to white

Turning 50 next week and going from pale blonde to white hair. I mean to start with a professional's help but what about maintaining at home?

What products etc.?

i don't know either , but i love white hair too!!! I remember when i was lil and going to church every Sunday, i'd see several ladies w/gorgeous white hair (like snow) and i told my mom i wanted to dye my hair white

Sigh...I'm 52, and my naturally blonde hair has turned white, naturally. In fact, one stylist wanted to add dark blonde lowlights...I told her to run the color right down my part so it'll look like roots growing out!

Anyway, your question...I would think that it wouldn't be too difficult to keep up since they are both the same color...just don't jump into a chlorinated swimming pool or you may have green hair!

my grandma has had naturally white hair for as long as i can remember and i adore it!! sorry, i can't really help you with your question! i have no idea

There are shampoos especially formulated for white/silver hair. They are usually purple, and will tone down any yellow that might appear. Clairol makes ones that we used to use on women with white hair, and it worked pretty well

Hi i used to have platinum blonde hair and i highly recommend redken colour injection in platinum, iv tried many other products and this is excellent (the others all dried my hair out or turned it a purlpe shade). its a hair mask and toner in 1 it well worth the money, leaves ur hair silky soft xx

I love white hair. It is so soft looking, and reminds me of clouds. I feel only soft, positive, fuzzy feelings when I think of white hair (on a nice woman, that is! I've seen plenty of stern looking women with white hair and I don't feel the same way, LOL).
