Going darker for fall

Sooooo, I have been blonde for a while and have decided to try something a little bit different.....so I went from this.... (Im the one on the left)



(the one on the right)



To this brown...(please pardon the bad lighting bathroom picture and silly face haha)





I have been kinda scared to take the plunge, I have dyed my hair all sorts of colors before, but my hair used to be REALLY short so I kinda took a lot of risks because there wasnt too much there haha

so this is the first time I have had it this long and dark.

Just wanted to share Let me know what you guys think!

I´m curious (since I have been thinking of going dark too), how was the process of becoming a brunette? Did the stylist just do dark highlights allover? I asked my stylist about this once, and she said on bleached blonde hair the darker color sometimes doesn´t come out as true as it would on virgin hair.

Im usually the same was as well, which I guess is a bit odd because I was so blonde for so long, but I tend to favor darker hues as well

Well, Im sure there are different processes but what we did for mine was put some of my blonde hair in foils, and re-bleached my roots and then did a tint all over and in between. I do not know necessarily how virgin hair would take a new color (although it would probably fare better I would assume haha) but because my hair was sooo light, it is going to fade really fast...so we purposely dyed it a bit darker than desired to compensate for the fading.

I feel that way too, I feel like when my hair is darker it matches my skin tone better - I dont feel like I look as flushed or red

When we first did it it was pretty dark but we did that on purpose because it was going to fade so much...its only been a couple weeks or so and it has already faded quite a bit, but still pretty I think
