What you do try, consistency is key in giving it a chance to do its thing. I would recommend you try using (daily) Paula's Choice Clearly Remarkable Skin Lightening Gel. This is an OTC product. If that doesn't work, or a dermabrasion kit like others have suggested, I would recommend retin-a.

i think either a course of microdermabrasion OR a course of peels (probably cheaper getting the peels yet more results with micro-d)

don't waste your money on microdemabrassion or any of that mild stuff, it's NOT going to work. that type of stuff only works on RED marks, NOT indents or any type of SERIOUS scarring.

i would suggest a LASER procedure, they're pricey, but DO give great results.

Laser may not neccessarily get rid of all the indents. A friend of mine spent thousands on laser - 5 treatments total but only saw about 20% improvement. I think you have do MANY treatments to see real results.

I posted above about using a regimen of Silkia camellia oil and Epidermx microderabrasion cream on my acne scar indents. All my tiny shallow scars are gone and the deep ones are much much shallower. They have really helped my scars.
