Hi SheilaRose,

I'm new here and look forward to getting to know everyone! I'm 46 years old and here are some things that I feel keep you young

I think this can apply to everyone!

Drink lots of water!!!

If you smoke quit!!

Dark circles - usually are due to stress, allergies, not enough sleep and most of the time are hereditary. Vitamin K is suppose to be beneficial for dark circles.

As far as aging neck the only cream that I've heard that supposedly really makes a dramatic difference is cream by a dermatologist, Dr. Denese. The cream is a Corn Silk extract based cream and testimonials have been really positive. You can look it up on Qvc.

OMG, what is wrong w/me? After I posted this I remembered a personal testimonial and recommendation for you to try.

My mother. She is 72 and she had been to visit w/ us in ATL in May of this year. She had broken her foot and had been diagnosed w/ rheumatoid arthritis. She had severe discoloration in her hands and in her feet in addition to pain. I gave her EMU oil because I had some around for my son who has Ecema and it totally cleared it up like nothing else has.

Anyway, she liked the way it alleviated her pain and the next thing that I knew, she had taken it w/ her when she left.

This is the amazing part.

In July I went to visit her. When I took one look at her from a distance I could not believe my eyes. I kid you not. I was amazed at how good she looked. She had on no makeup, nothing new done to her hair, it was her face and the firmness and rejeuvenated look of it. I could not believe it. I'm telling you that she looks better now than she has in 15 years.

When she went back home she began using the EMU oil on her face because she was so pleased with the results of it on her hands and feet.

Rose, try EMU oil. I can't say that it will work for each and every one but I can honestly tell you that looking at my mother's face, who by the way is a very heavy lifelong smoker, EMU oil is something who's claims and testimonials I truly believe in because I've seen it's performance with my own eyes.

BTW, my mother is someone who skin care to her is soap water and lotion. Seriously. Anti aging creams eye creams never. Now you can't pry this EMU oil from her.

hi Sheilarose,

i hope someday you can afford that plastic surgery but until then why dont you try the OCM (oil cleansing method). it does make a differance (and way cheaper).

also someone suggested emu oil i would reccomend also avocado, sweet almond and grapeseed oil.

good luck

What does it smell like. Is it real oily. Please give me some basic info. I will certainly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Sheila Rose

Emu oil is odorless.

Oil: Emu, Ultra, AEA Certified Fully Refined Emu oil has can be an effective carrier oil for skin care. It is non-comedogenic, and is completely non irritating. It has been suggested that emu oil can reduce inflammation and redness of the skin, reduce the formation of wrinkles and restore moisture to irritated, dry skin. In addition, it is said to reduce inflammation and pain of sore muscles and joints. It has been recommended for use in healing burns and preventing the formation of scar tissue while encouraging rapid repair of damaged tissue. Emu oil becomes creamy in appearance at 65° F and will solidify if kept colder. Refrigeration is recommended if you plan to store emu oil for longer than 3 months. Studies have suggested that emu oil is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, encourages healing, stimulates skin, hair and nail growth, has a natural SPF, is a natural emollient and moisturizer, is highly penetrating, is non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic and prevents and diminishes scarring/stretch marks.

Another great oil for maturing skin is

rosehip seed oil

Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. It has natural anti-oxidant properties and is slightly astringent. Rosehip oil has been shown to help improve skin elasticity, regenerate skin cells, slow down premature aging, reduce the formation of wrinkles, and reduce scarring. Rosehip oil is a suitable choice for inclusion within formulations intended for maturing or damaged skin where the regeneration of new skin cells is needed. Rosehip oil is commonly used at a ratio of up to 10%.

Pomegranate seed oil

Pomegranate seed oil is gaining increased recognition by cosmeceutical manufacturers and the spa and aromatherapy industries due to its remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. Pomegranate seed oil is high in lipids including pucinic acid. Pomegranate seed oil can be effective in treating dry skin, eczema, psoriasis and sunburned skin. It is a good choice for inclusion in formulations for maturing skin. Its high polyphenol content makes it a strong anti-oxidant and adds to its stable shelf life. Pomegranate seed oil contains conjugated fatty acids which gives it strong anti-inflammatory properties and makes it a highly beneficial addition to formulations intended to reduce swelling and ease musclular aches and pains. Studies have shown that pomegranate oil is effective at killing cancer cells when applied topically.

Rice bran oil

Rice bran oil is high in fatty acids and rich in unsaponifiables. Rice bran oil is a natural anti-oxidant and also offers a small degree of sunscreen protection. (Please note, however, that you will not be able to determine the exact SPF of your product without testing and you cannot market SPF products without a license to do so.) Rice bran oil is moisturizing and is a good choice for inclusion in formulations intended for mature, delicate or sensitive skin. Rice bran oil is especially useful in baby, face and hair formulations

Grapeseed oil

Grapeseed oil is rich in vitamins, minerals, linoleic acid and other essential fatty acids. It is a light, slightly astringent, penetrating oil for massage and aromatherapy applications. Grapeseed oil is a nourishing addition to lotion, cream, lip balm, eye cream and special formulations intended for dry, damaged or aging skin

Another really good product for tightening and lifting the skin is DMAE. There is a store on Ebay that many women rave about the products, prices, and service. They carry many products that get high reviews from users with matured skin. Even better, they carry these products at very reasonably affordable prices.

The other link is a link to an online store who carries all of the above mentioned oils (and tons of other items) at very very reasonable prices.

eBay Store - Skin Actives Scientific: Natural Ingredients, Active biochemicals, Biotechnology Ingredients

Vegetable Oils, Carrier Oils and Fixed Oils - FNWL

I hope that this will be useful.
