What can i do whit this hair? they are flat on top, wavy on the middle and finally curly. I use the flat iron to flatten them everyday but it cause a lot of damage... do you know what can i do whit this hair ?? like wich products should i use. I would like to wear them natural (without causing damage to them) Help me !

If you want to define your curls more, try using a curl activator like Bedhead Uptight along with your defuser. I also use Bedhead Control Freak gel while my hair is wet (to control some of the frizz) then defuse and spray on the curl activator. Since my hair is not "true curly" hair I belive it will always be somewhat flat on top. Hope this helps some.

deep condition is and put sometime of frizz control gel sometimes mousse is good for that.

i got the same problem, i either straighten it or add stuff to make the whole thing curly.

or if im just lazy put it in braided pigtails.

You described my hair exactly, except my hair is medium density.

What works for me is having my hair layered.

Now if I try to straighten it, it is not so thick and poofy at the bottom.

After washing, I apply mouse. If I want to go straight, I blowdry my hair straight. Then flat iron the hair from ears to ends.

If I want to go curly, I blow dry bangs, and let the rest go crazy.

In either case, once my hair is dry, I apply a small amount of serum.

Then I leave it alone to prevent frizzing.

I use white rain mouse and got2b glossy hair serum.

I think one of the reasons for inconsistent curls is the fact that you flat iron. Straightening curly/wazy hair constantly will really "screw up" (for lack of a better term) the curl pattern. Definitely try and wear your hair natural.

There are plenty of GREAT curl enhancers out there!

AG: Recoil (Canadian brand, found at Beauty Supply Outlet, Trade Secrets) is an awesome curl enhancer, volumizer and pretty moisturizing.

Other great products for curl enhancing:

Biosilk Rock Hard Gelee

Pantene Curl Scrunching Gel

Marc Anthony Strictly Curls line

Curly Hair Solutions line

Joico Ice Whip Mousse

Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock

Also, for added volume on top, since you mentioned flatness, try to DIFFUSE DRY your hair upside down and SCRUNCH, SCRUNCH, SCRUNCH!!

Good luck!!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I totally agree with diffusing. There are a lot of curlies whose hair isn't uniformly curly. My hair is a combination of wavy and curly. If I really want it to be curly I'll diffuse.

If the straight part is really straight you could curl that part by twisting it or pining it and applying heat to it while your diffusing. I sometimes did that when I lost some of the curl towards the front when I bleached it too much.

i know this sounds crazy but you could get a perm to make the curls more uniform, if not you could try cuting long layers to give the middle more curl and there is a thing called a root perm where they only curl the root area so it's not flat..

Thanks for all your help i gonna try those products and srunch my hair!! And i see that i'm not the only one with this type of hair... Thank you!!!

Oh, this so sounds like my hair. It is flat on top, but wavy towards the middle and end. I wouldn't really say curly though. I am going to try a curl activator soon and see if that helps. I am trying to get away from the straight iron, but its hard because I get frustrated trying to get my hair to look either "curly" or "straight".

I have curly/wavy hair...i just found this great mousse by herbal essences..called danerously straight 'pin staright mousse'..put it in your wet hair when ya get out of the shower and blow dry just a little bit not too much or youll frizz. and thats it, no ironing or nothing. it work wonders on my hair.
