Well, it's no longer fall so my lovely Samsara is not working. I have been wearing Shalimar lately, even though I said I never would. When I apply it modestly, it blooms really nicely. I guess it is a winter only fragrance; although, it really isn't winter here (Georgia). The cherry trees are already blooming:icon_eek: . I use to wear Coco a lot, but I stopped wearing it when i stopped smoking five years ago. I have recently begun to wear it again w/ very pleasant results. Someone once told me that it is the best scent for me, but it seemed to need the tobacco. Now that I think about it, I quit when I found out I was pregnant. I guess it was the hormones that didn't like the Coco. I am now weaning my second daughter and my hormones are just now getting back to
normal. I remember wearing Coco in the Spring and Summer, but I would like to get another fragrance so that I will have one for each season.
As you can see, I like my dark, complex orientals. I went to
www.osmoz.com to look at the fragrance families. I wear an oriental woody-Samsara, an oriental vanilla-Shalimar, an oriental spice-Coco; now, if only I could find a decent oriental floral. I tried Organza today, the tester bottle didn't spray enough so I used the lotion. I almost always hate the lotions, so I don't have an accurate feeling for Organza. I think I will try Organza again; hopefully, it won't be too
sweet. Maybe I can get a sample!
