How can I get the fuzzy light hair off of my chin and upper lip. You can't see it really,I have light hair, but I know it is there. I don't want to to laser, money not readily available. Thanks

You can wax them, is painful but is an option since you can do laser treatments or tweeze them ... ouch

Threading is another option. I use it and find it better than waxing. I ended up with broken veins on my face after 4-5 waxing sessions.

as long as the hair is fine you can use a small facial razor. i use one for the fine hairs on my upper lip and chin and between my eyebrows to keep my makeup looking smooth. you can pick one up at any beauty supply for about $5 for 3. i did try waxing and it changed my skin tone in the areas i waxed.

It was me! I had dermaplaning done for the first time about 2 months ago. My face was so baby soft afterwards and my makeup went on smoother. It's something that only needs to be done once every month or 2. I'm just now noticing it's about time to have it done again. I didn't have much facial hair but it's amazing how much of a difference it makes without any hair at all!

I just use a bic razor. I use it with cleanser. My facial hair doesn't grow in thicker and I don't have a 5:00 shadow. I usually do this once a week.

It was cheaper than my microderm but he gives me a really good deal so I don't know how much it normally is. It wasn't painful at all. I was kinda nervous at the fact that it's a really sharp scalpel. He kept talking to me and I wasn't responding much because I was trying to be very still. I wasn't my normal joking self because I was afraid i'd laugh or he'd laugh, slip, and slice my throat or something. :icon_eek: It doesn't hurt, though. It's just a bareable scraping feeling.

I have also been blessed by facial hair thanks to my dad's genes. My mother's side of the family barely have hair on their legs, forget about their faces. Mine is is dark and to get rid of it, I've found threading works best. I used to wax but it left my skin red & irritated, not to mention it made me break out in pimples. With threading, the redness & irritation is kept to a minimum and although I'll occassionally break out in a zit here or there, it's not nearly as bad as with the waxing.

I've also found tweezing works well too, when I have the patience for it. One of these days, I'll save t he money and do the research to get laser hair removal on my face. Until that day comes, threading & a pair of tweezers work well for me.

You can try bleaching the little hairs if you have dark noticable hair. Nair and other depliatory creams work as well. The best bet is threading because... your skin does get damaged like shaving and waxing. Sugaring is another option, but there are so many other options with different skin types etc... Good luck choosing one ;D

Hm... i have seen a new way of getting rid of hair. You can "burn" them away". I saw this on tv on a guy, they did remove some little hairs on his ears. But I don`t know all the details "yet". I only know that Turkish people are good in doing this thing!

I have blonde hair on my face too. Once I used nair to remove it, it turned out very smooth. The only problem was that my face was too smooth, my makeup wouldn't stick??? I also looked funny in pics. I compared before Nair and after Nair Pics. The pics before I had a softer look, almost like a fuzzy little aura.

I am sorry, darling, but I re-wrote this reply about 5 times, trying to explain the technique. Failed! Let me see if I can find some references for the method with better description for you.

I don`t know if you already have seen it. But there is a thread in the skin forum about threading and some people have explained in it how you do that! HTH. :icon_wink
