i get threading for my eyebrows and upper lips and the rest of the face.. i bleach it. tried waxing my upperlip but it wasnt all the neat. con: threading is very painful!!

i get my brows waxed.

but for facial hair i use sall hansens wax strips. they are great and easy to use :]

I shave evrything, except I use Sally Hansen Wax strips on my face and tweeze my eyebrows.

Hi,

I prefer waxing and tweezing. I don't like using razors as the hair tends grow back more dense. If I'm in a rushm, I will use Nair.

shaving is vile. wax tweeze and threading for me. my skin glows after i wax (b/c it also exfoliates)

for home use is use poetic cosmetics waxing kit. Such good stuff!

I can't wax, and I'm having trouble finding a removal cream that works for me (removes the hair but doesn't burn the skin). I'll try using petroleum jelly before and see if that helps....thanks for the tip. This is the single biggest embarrassment and beauty challenge I have, and I hate it; so finding a solution is important to me.

have you tried vaniqa? Its not an instant solution but it will progressively slow hair regrowth. Of course, for it to show you will need to wax the hair...:kopfkratz:

I have waxed since I was 14 and just recently my friend told me how she uses a epilator all over her body evrymorning, arms, legs and face. Her skin was super smooth, she has none of the tale tell stubble on her arms or anything. So i went out and bought one, and I have to say this si the best thing that I have ever used. Even waxing was too time consuming, yu have to melt the wax, and pply and rip, and you can't do that everyday, but the epilator/ just plud in and go! It doesn't hurt, it's quick and I never have any little hairs that come out and start showing after like two days of not waxing. For super hairy girls I think this is the best product that you can invest in!!! i don't know how I lived without this!

Oh and I used to use nair when I was a like 13-14 and it burned my skin. it used to look like I had cold sores cuase of it, and it can be overall retty damamging to your skin.

Back home it was threading. Now its tweezing and waxing. I too tried an epilator and veet on my face, umm lets just say not a good idea!

i wax.. im scared of nair when i was 12 i put some on my eyebrows to remove some hair and i was f*** up it took a year for me to get better and the stupid thing was my mom owns a hair salon i could of got it wax but i was stupid

oh no, I have to correct my previous post! I suddenly remembered that once I actually had laser hair remover experience at skin clinic (here in Tokyo) for my above upper lip area/Mustache. It was a few years ago I can't even remember the price. less than $70 I guess.

I'm SO forgettable these days..:sleepyhead:

Anyway, it's not all gone but hair got thinner and not too noticeable.

I used to bleach and wax, but the hair was still a litttle noticable with bleaching and waxing was painful and sometimes left my skin red and irritated. Then, I saw a story on TV about how Asian women shave their faces everyday as a form of exfoliation. The story said that hair on women's faces grows back fine and soft. I decided to give it a try and I found the story was absolutely right. Shaving is quick, painless, a good exfoliator and my hair grows back soft and unnoticable. I maybe shave once a week.
