hi. so i've been using clinique's anti blemishes 3 steps system for almost a month now. like its name, it has 3 steps : cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing i noticed that the 2nd step it different from a normal skin care routine as it is exfoliating and not toning.
this step is called clarifying lotion, which im not really sure if it is different from a normal toner. before using this system i was using an exfoliator from the face shop. however after purchasing this system i stopped using it because i thought maybe the clarifying lotion would be enough.
but not im not really sure about it. can anybody tell me whether i need to exfoliate if i am already using clarifying lotion?? i am very concerned about my skin's dead cells
