If any of you use emu oil, can you tell me where you buy yours? I've started using it lately, and love it, but am looking for different places to get it. I did a search online, and of course a lot of places offer it, but I am wary of the quality unless I get a recommendation from someone.

Thanks!

Sorry, I haven't tried Emu oil. I'm sure someone will post that uses it.

I've been using emu oil for years..........I use it on my face at night and weekend when I don't go out............I use it on my dog's nose, she has lupus and her nose was in very bad shape, I used it for 6 months, and her nose is now like a puppy's nose.............she licks it from my hand, so she gets extra omega 3 from it..................hope this helps

Helath Food store here, I usually can get all my oils there, I am going this week to check out the Cocunut Oil. My Health Food store doesnt have my squalene oil so I have to buy that online, but emu should be able to get most any health food store.

When I use to use emu oil .. my cat would go crazy and try to lick me! I also found it very greasy even with a tiny amount.

I have not found emu oil at any local stores, like GNC. Can anyone recommend online sites in addition to ebay?

Mineral Basics carries emu oil, that is who I buy it from. It is good quality. The woman who owns it recently developed a emu oil cream. My mom bought some and she says its just wonderful, it has really helped her skin immensely. The company has a lot of really great and natural skin care. For the emu oil products, here is the link: Mineral Basics Nature's Gift to Your Skin

im new here, do you ladies use this oil as a moisturizer? is it suitable for dry skin? what r the benefits??

I get the one from Ebay, It's in a 2oz bottle and they have weekly specials of 2 for $15USD. Pretty inespensive and its high quality!!!

The best I've tried is Belle Saison (4skinbeauty.com) It doesn't smell and works great. All of the others I've tried had that Emu/chicken smell......That is funny about the cat..My dog Pickles (the white monster on the right below) goes crazy for the Dr. Emu brand and the Lumiere brands! Yuck.

You can use it alone as a a moisturizer or add a bit to your current routine. I usually add a good drop to a few other serums (DMAE/Peptide) at night and in the day a drop to a daytime moisturizer. I have dry/combo skin and it has helped quite a bit. I also find I don't have as many breakouts.

I've used emu oil for several years. My favorite place to order from is purpleemu.com. Great customer service.
