I've heard of them, but I've never done one! I might try it out...question: If you're going to use both parts of the egg, how do you do the white? Do you boil first?

Hi, I'm new to the site and have an egg mask that I tried the other night. I was very surprised at how soft my skin felt and also how it helped the redness. It says it is supposed to help shrink pores also. I have tried using egg masks before and I really like this one the best so far.

Separate 2 eggs (I only used one). Smear the yolk on your face and leave on for 10 minutes. While waiting, mix 2 tablespoons of baking powder (I only used 1 tablespoon) with the egg whites. After the 10 minutes, apply the egg white mixture to your face. Leave the egg yolk on your face. Leave the egg whites on for 10 minutes, then rinse off.

I had a good result with this and will use it again.

Peace

Ooops!!!!! I jsut re-read my post and noticed I made a mistake. I typed baking powder but it should be baking soda. Geez, I shouldn't be in such a hurry!

I used eggyolk mask for a few days before. i like it but i just find it hard to rinse so i bought a mask and just remove it after 10 mins. <I'm lazy>

use egg white if u have oily skin

use the yolk if u have dry skin

u can apply egg white under the eyes to iron out the fine lines below the eyes and also to reduce eye bags!!!

I have the egg mask on right now and I'm not as freaked out as I thought it would be. I did add a little vanilla so it didn't smell so bad...we'll see how it goes!

Egg white firms/tightens,smooths n refreshes d skin whereas Egg yolk nourishes, softens n cleans d skin.it's better u use egg masks individually, like only with white or d yolk.First use d yolk n leave for 10 mins or a bit more,so it nourishes ur face naturally. Then wash ur face with plain water.Pat dry with a soft towel n then put on d white n leave it xactly for 10 mins.Wash of properly with warm water.Cleanse n moisturise. This mask is best if u want an inexpensive way 4 a firmer, smoother skin, usually b4 u go outside.

I know this is an old thread. If you have never done an egg mask you are missing out! Try it once before you decide. I can't believe I was always so grossed out I wouldn't do it, but just tried a few nights ago. My crater pores are gone!

I'm trying this right now.

A bit of advice: don't get any in your mouth like I did! It's pretty nasty!
