Hey!!

I'm looking for a new flat iron, and I saw these on Ebay, and I was wondering if any of you have tried them, or heard of them, or anything!

The starting bid of $0.01 kind of threw me off... I didn't think it would be that cheap if it were a good one. But after reading about them , they seem Ok...??

Sorry, I can't post links to it, but here is a picture:

The name on Ebay is:

Mosito Brand Professional Salon Styler Pink Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Flat Iron

Thanks for your help!!!

I got my Chi off folica.com a while ago for $200 or something ... Ebay sells a lot of great stuff, but they also sell fake things ... so i'd make sure it was real b4 i bid.

If the seller has positive replys then I would go for it! there not allowed to advertise something if your not going to get it (if you know what I mean lol). x

I agree with the other ladies on double-checking feedback. Definitely be careful of fakes!

They definitly arent real CHI's... but the person has good feedback, and they said the flat irons retail for like $200 or something, and they heat up to like 400 degrees, so I figured it would have to work decently! LOL. But thank you guys so much for your help!!!!

Have a lovely day!:marchmellow:

these are not real CHI's, just a regular flat iron, and i've seen some of it for pretty cheap, but im not sure about the quality.

I agree with Kim. Check feedback and do a internet search on reviews for the different irons. It would suck to purchase a fake one. You may want to invest more money and get the real thing that works well and protects your hair.

you can find good real deals on Ebay. I got this amazing Chi flat iron for about $30 once.

Lol. Ok well after MUCH worrying/thinking/debating, I finally got one of the flat irons. I like it alot except that it wasn't the lovely hot pink color I thought it was going to be...:icon_conf I really wanted it to use it to curl my hair with, but I still don't completely have the hang of doing that... if anyone has any tips on curling with flat irons, it would be much appreciated!!! Thanks so much!!

instead of getting it online just go to a department store. atleast you'll have a return policy.

:plain: Gr! I have officially changed my mind. I don't like it any more. I mainly got it to make those cute CHI curls, and I thought it worked OK for that, until I used my friend's real CHI!! And it doesn't even straighten that good! It takes a long time. So now I'm sad. (And I feel like a dork... lol.) I'm debating whether to try to sell it somewhere/somehow (Any suggestions?) or to just chalk it up as a bad decision and go get a CHI, or is there a different brand that's better??

Thanks guys.

OK, I really have to know the answer to this question: Is the Chi REALLY so much better that it is worth paying $200 for? If so, can you tell me how it is better than others? Thanks so much! Inquiring minds (like mine!) want to know :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I wouldn't buy a flat iron from Ebay. Too skeptical, but that's just me. :frown:

It's just one of those items that leave you curious and unsure

("Will it work for me?" "Is the quality as good as it seems?" et cetera)

Plus it'll be a hassle to return such items if you were ever disappointed.

If you really want the Chi iron I saw it at Bed Bath & Beyond just earlier. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have a CHI and a SEDU, and my Sedu wins hands down. It is the best flat iron I have ever used. I bought the CHI to compare to my Sedu... the CHI does a pretty good job, but my Sedu does a much better job. I have really curly hair, and the Sedu gets it really straight.
