Dyed my hair

I dyed my hair about a month ago? maybe even less. its 3/4maple and 1/4 a dark red. The first few weeks it seemed to be really shiny?..and now when im in the sun or a bight light is the only time you can see the red. other tahn that. it just looks dark?..is there any product i can use that will make it shine more. Im worried to use a product that i dotn know about cuzi dont want to damage my hair or fade the color?. any product suggestions that arent too pricy? and i dont have to go all the way to a mall to get?

oh and also...I use a curler.a lot..and will that fade my color faster..someone said it would?

if u have a sallys near you or a beauty supply store they should gave a gloss treatment you can buy its like hair dye, but clear. it can be used to dilute hair dye or just to give hair a shiney gloss like you have from freshly dyed hair.
