I think I need to learn to just use what works for me and stop trying all these other products.

I feel ya!! I have WAY TO MANY product for my face, always eager to try and then in doubt because of a new spot I get (that could easily be from hormones of course). Then I just spend money on a product and after a few days I start using another thing OMG... I am

And then after a few weeks for example I will try the product again but I don't have a clue what's breaking me out sometimes. (but I think it's hormones and sometimes in combination with a bad makeup product or face cream, you know what I mean

I think I just want the best for my skin!

Absolutly do not use your Dove body wash on your face. Your face has a different PH than the rest of your body. Therefore, your face needs a soap with a PH that matches it. If you use body soap on your face, you can cause major breakouts because your body soap will actually cause germs to be attracked to your face. Spend the extra few dollars and maximum buy the Dove face wash

I have found some information about skin pH level:

The Importance of Skin pH - CWI Medical

They advise patients with skin conditions to choose a mild cleanser with a low pH.

Makes sense to me!

I just (yesterday) bought a soap for my face from SEBAMED (pH5.5):
