Dove Skincare Range What Do You Think

I looovvee Dove Beauty Bars! Unfortunately I've had to stop using them because my skin is just so oily!! The Dove Bars are quire moisturising so they're a bit rich for my skin so for the moment I'm using Neutrogena Clear Pore wash because it rids me of the oil on my face and keeps me from breaking out.

There are so many good things about Dove though so I wish I could use it!

I heard the sensitive was originally recommended by Derms because people who were on special acne treatment, their skin became really sensitised and the Dove didn't irritate it. The Sensitive doesnt really help with acne but it's really gentle and keeps your skin soft.

The Original bar contains salicylic acid which promotes cell renewal and this in turns helps all the crap come out of your skin, keeping your pores clearer. I did notice I had hardly any black heads with the original.

I'm so distraught I can't use Dove at the moment but it really is better for those with normal to drier skin types

I used to love their soaps. I have dry skin but am addicted to long hot baths....a dangerous combination, so a nice moisturizing soap is essential.

Now that I'm trying to cut back on the expensive facial products, I've re-discovered their facial cleanser. It may be called something else outside of Japan...anyway, it's nice and foamy and creamy and the price is right. I've used lots of more expensive products that left my face all dry and uncomfortable. Dove never does that.

i remember hehehe not so long ago hehehe when I was a teen, I tried to stay away from soaps with lotion.

The energy glow stuff that's supposed to build a gradual tan made me turn out orange, but it did smell nice. Maybe it's because I'm practically see through that it made me look orange. Lol The Hawaiin tropic lotion does the same thing but I've heard much better things about it.

As far as I know, Benzyl Salicylate is not Salicylic Acid.

I've tried the tinted moisturiser. Not sure if that can be included i this thread. Didn't really like it as it had a very strong smell. It also might have caused breakouts, which i find odd because it was recommended for my skin type which is dry and sensitive.
