I'm using a high-end line for my skin care, but it isn't really famous ( Nu Skin ). As long as it's not dirt cheap ( which ingredients are highly dubious ), I think I'll be okay. I would also trust online beauty reviews like Makeuptalk!

I used them. I tried the line for acne. It didn't really work for me, might have actually been to harsh for my skin. So I stopped using it.

Oh and I tried the powder they have (the compact that you can use wet or dry) and I have to say, this compact REALLY stops almost any oil from coming through and has great coverage....but it was a little over drying and the shade selection didn't fit my skin tone. So when I wore it, I didn't look quite right - my color that is.

All that being said, I like Prescriptives! Love Mac for their highly pigmented colors and selection....plus the quality is great too! I have yet to try Shiesdo, but heard so many good things. Oh and Becca is awesome too (is this a Sephora brand or something?)! I love certain items from my company (Aloette) as well....but wouldn't brag about their cosmetics (not a very good selection of shades) - the skincare is nice and gentle though!

So honestly I love high end better for their quality, selection and ability to try before you buy - usually. Plus the money back gaurentee helps too....if you try it and find you don't like it, most will exchange it or return your money. Most drugstores will not do this. I just like being able to try a shade or color from department stores, rather than come home from say Walmart with something and hate it, then not be able to return it. I wonder if they even accept returns for opened and used makeup? I have yet to try Malini or Prestige....and can't wait to find them so I can try them out.
