I just started using dermologica about 4 days ago. I just got some samples form a friend and they are running out. Should I buy the stuff or not waste my money. all I tried was just the face wash, drying lotion, oil control, and this medicated gel stuff. It is working pretty good so far but its really to soon to tell if it will work in the long hall. Any opinions??????

if your not so sure about it you could check out reviews on it maybe try find some more samples or try ebay and get them cheaper.

I use dermalogica skin smoothing cream at night and i like it. There is a book called "Don't go to the Cosmetics counter without me" by Paula Begoun and it's like the ultimate bible of cosmetics review. You might want to see if it's in your library or local bookstore and read up about the products you're thinking of using. no matter what there are going to be cheaper or more expensive products that do the exact same thing. (The book has good recommendations). I think its a question of how much you're able and willing to spend. hope this helps.

i like a lot of dermalogica's products. i agree that the skin smoothing cream is very nice, and it does get really good marks in paula begoun's book. she generally doesn't rate dermalogica's products as being very good. i really like the microfoliant, but she says it won't exfoliate your skin. i noticed a lot of improvement when i started using it and received compliments from total strangers asking me what i used. when i read her review of it, i stopped using it for a time. as soon as i started using it again, i had people asking me what i use on my skin again. so obviously i was doing something right! i also used some of their acne/oily skin products and my pores were almost invisible. i think they make good products for acne. i really liked the dermal clay cleanser and the active moist moisturizer - i would put it on at night and my skin would literally clear up from just that moisturizer! once i started using the samples and saw the improvement in my skin, i went out and bought their products. but use up your samples and see what you think!

i think dermalogica has a wonderful product line but i would suggest you use the samples for at least two weeks before buying the products. sometimes it takes that long to see if a product is helping or hurting your skin.

i'd say just keep using the samples for at least a couple of weeks or maybe a month. then evaluate your skin

anw26, you may want to try ROC. They have a line for acne prone or oily skin. I asked my dermatologist about Dermalogica because i had read a lot of good reviews and she said that ROC is just as good and so much less expensive. She gave me samples and I've noticed a difference in my skin this last week. It doesn't look as dull, it's getting better.

It is in any drugstore..

I use only Dermalogica products. I have tried other brands but this has been the best for my skin.

Dermologica is a great product, I use it all the time, it all depends what are  you looking for? they have diffrent creams for diffrent skin types i started using the starter kit the cleaning one also, and it was good, i also used the smoothing cream with it. hope this helps :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
