While I found a salon who carries HealthySexyHair products and Biolage, they don't carry CHI. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it out there just yet, so I bought some Marc Anthony Curl Booster products while I was in CVS. So far it's doing well. I didn't use hairspray, so it's not hard & crunchy, and so far it's not frizzing or unmanageable, although it's still drying too *lmao*

ANYWHO! I took some pics of my hair "wavy." I've forgotten since it's been relaxed it has more wave than actual curl these days. So, I want your opinions as to whether or not it looks better curly or straight. I appreciate my loves! (No face shots since I don't have on makeup and look HORRIBLE!!! *lmao*)

I think it looks gorgeous either way, but I'm so used to seeing you with straight hair, that I personally love it straight!

Thanks Mel! John prefers it straight too... It's easier for me because it's basically "get up and go" hair *lol* We'll see how it goes... I need to get the HSH though, and hopefully it's even better and more manageable!

i think it's pretty both, though i can understand the straight being easier.

Wow your hair looks amazing! I really like it straight it looks soooo healthy

You're so beautiful, Aquilah! And I think it looks good both ways. I think the "wavy" look would look better if you did it in a different style, but it still looks good.

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately Tova, the only other style is in a ponytail *lol* The natural layers make it crazy like! A loose braid might look nice, but it's so long and thick, not to mention I'm lazy *lmao*

Damn girl!

lol Actually I'm liking the wave! I think it looks great both ways, but I think with the right products (curl balms, gel, etc.) and drying w/ a diffuser... It'd look amazing!

i personally love it straight. but i'm biased b/c i have naturally curly hair that just became waves as i grew older and i hated it. so i'm all about the straight hair.

LMAO!!! You guys are making it even harder for me! It's actually still doing quite well. I didn't know how it would hold, but it's doing good. I'm thinking a big difference might be the temperature and humidity differences between GA and NY. We'll see how this goes for awhile, and if nothing else, I'll just go back to my relaxers

Thanks again for everyone's opinions!!!

well... worse comes to worse, at least you're hair will be healthy from a well deserved break

Oh you are SO right!!! Maybe I should just get a CHI since I finally learned how to balance and use hand-hand coordination w/ the blowdryer and a brush! FINALLY! Then I can just make it straight when I want to without worrying about the relaxers... Hmmm.... There's an idea!!!

I wish I can see it, but I can't since I'm a newbie I have to post more, so here goes, I'm posting away so watch out! I bet you look gorgeous though!

As for Chi products I use the Chi Iron guard when I use the flat iron, and really works great, for protecting it.

yeah! i got ten posts and I can see the pictures now, I think it looks great both ways, but I do prefer the straight look, but this is coming from someone that also has naturally curly hair.

And you are RIGHT Mari!!! That stuff is heavenly!

I like it both ways, though I would like to see face shots so I can see which style looks better with your face shape! For example, I think curly hair makes my square face look even wider since my hair just adds width to the sides of my face! So I think straight hair is more slimming for my face!

However, you look like you have a nice oval face so you'll probably look good both ways

Why not just wear it straight some days and curly others, to switch things up and match your mood?
