I was wanting to see what you all think about using a conditioner mask as a leave in. I really need one, and I was wanting to use my HSH Pumpkin mask as a leave in, but is this ok? The salons around here don't carry HSH and I got everything they had, but they didn't have a leave in. Would this work or has anyone tried it? TIA!!

A lot of conditioners can be left in, although they are suppose to be rinced out. If the mask is a bit think, you might want to either only smoosh in no more than a 1/2 tablespoon. Or you could water it down a bit, then comb through.

Another piece of advice, after it is in hair, apply heat with your blowdryer. This will help the mask work even better.

Thanks for the replies. I have found a salon that will order me the soy leave in, but I may try this while I wait to get it.

Ojon has a nice leave in conditioning mist that I like. Its lightweight and it smells nice too. Although, atm I'm looking at the HSH Pumpkin leave in just because I like to change products before my hair gets used to them. And I'm also always looking for an upgrade. Although I'm not sure where around here to get it... :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Here's a tip!

If you're heading out to the beach or planning on working out on your tan you can actually use the sun to your advantage by applying a deep fortifying conditioner on your strands. The sun's rays will penetrate your hair creating silky results after you rinse your hair out and temporarily prevent it from burning your locks.
