Computer Error (Joke)

I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Rick the computer guy, to come over. Rick clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?"

He replied, "It was an ID ten T error."

I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired: "An ID ten T error? What's that ... in case I need to fix it again?"

The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?"

"No," I replied.

"Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out."

So I wrote out ......

Haha, I know I had an ID ten T error just last weekend...

For some reason i couldn't connect on the internet even tho I resetted my router as least 5-6x. So for an hr I couldn't figure it out so I called my ISP (internet service provider) for technical support issues.

So I told Mr X (lets just say that's his name) that my internet doesn't seem to be working and how can this be resolved. So he asked me whether the DSL light was blinking so i said it was which he came to conclusion being that the DSL cord connecting to the phone jack must be loose or detached.

It took me 15 mins trying to find the damn thing since the phonejack was behind the comp desk and my dad's main comp had loads of wires and crap...Mr X must be thinking I'm an idiot at this point.

When I finally found the phonejack it turns out that the wire has been severed. Looks like Mickey Mouse paid me a visit and decided to cut off my internet! Grrrrr....so when I told him the problem he laughed over the phone and said "well there goes the problem. all you need is a new phone wire and you're set to go back online"

Boy did i feel like an idiot >_<
