I've dyed my hair many times and Im sick of the color right now. I want to get my natural hair color back (see avatar) I was wondering, if I went to a salon to get it done professionally done would they be able to get my exact color or as close to it as possible? My hair is kind a unique kind of color, its almost a lightish brown with a blonde tint...Advice would help

Thanks

Well your best bet would be to go to the salon but even then it may not be a perfect match since hair color fades over time. If it starts to grow in with roots maybe you could get some subtle highlights to try to blend the 2 shades together. Good luck.

Make sure you go to a good salon and I'm sure they would be able to match almost exactly. I told my hairdresser to make my lowlights my natural haircolor and she matched them almost exactly. I have a kind of odd brown shade to my hair and I was kinda surprised she was able to do it.

I've tried to match my hair color before . . . It works for a little while, then the color fades. I agree w/ ChromKAt about the highlights.

i went back to my natural color after years of highlights and then coloring. i also have dark brown almost black hair. Trust me it is an adjustment to get used too. Took me a few weeks actually because of the contrast. But I've noticed my hair is much more soft and not as dry. good luck

Definitely go to the salon and see what they can do. Hopefully they don't have to 100% strip your hair of the color it currently has. They might have to start out lighter than what you have, but darker than you want, and then gradually work towards the natural color. Best of luck sweetie!

you can ask them to take out al the colors in your hair. because when you dye your hair, the chemicals create the colors, but they can always come off. tell them to chemically strip the colors off and you should get your hair color back.
