I figured this would be the best place to get specific.

My little brother is a chef, so he works with high heat and a lot of different oils, meats, etc. He sweats a lot, and also gets the dish water on his skin.

He's started breaking out pretty badly since he started this and hasn't had much luck with any drugstore face washes.

Is there a product or products that anyone is aware of that may help him with this? He doesn't have overly oily skin, so the cleansers marketed for oily skin tend to dry out his face but not clear up the acne.

Any help or advice is appreciated! Thanks girls (and guys)! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Is he washing his face when he's done with work? I'm thinking if it's hot while he's working then his skin is absorbing the oil that's back there. If he washes his face after work and then follows with a toner I think it should help him. Cetaphil is gentle and shouldn't cause drying. I believe they make one for normal to dry skin. Clean and Clear also makes a sensitive skin toner (it's blue) and he should apply that to his skin after he washes it. Allow the toner to dry then follow with a moisturizer. I think this will help him :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks @@Esthylove

I know he always showers and washes his face after work because he feels gross! haha

I'll definitely have him check out Cetaphil, they have one for normal/combination skin. Maybe that will work. And I'll give him the advice about toner/moisturizer.

Also changing his pillow case every few days helps a bunch. Your face is on it all night! I hope this helps him! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
