I just saw some chi flat irons on ebay for 39.99. Is this possible??? What do you gals think. I would love to have one, but I am afraid they are not the real thing. Is there a special way to tell. Also even if I buy the right one, what is the best size to get to get loose curls???

You can check janelle's I got a Chi thread, she used her iron to make curls or waves. On ebay look at the ratings( postive/ negative/ netural) that users has got. Look what other customers wrote and look if the condtion of the chi is new uesd etc.

I had the same problem while checking on ebay. I really dont know if they wouldsell a real chi for that amount of money.

I think you get what you pay for. Just make sure you read all the details before purchasing it.

Yeah... definitly read feedback and the entire description. You can also ask the seller if they are guaranteed authentic. I was able to make curls by wrapping my hair around an abject, and running the iron over it to lock in the shape.

if it's on ebay sometimes the starting price is lower to attract customers, as said it is important to check feedback. smaller flat irons = smaller curls and vice versa.
