Hi,

Is anyone using this cheap wrinkle care - Phytoceramides?

Dr. Oz and other health magazines raved about it.

I went to this website:

http://www.amazon.com/Life-Extension-Restoring-Phytoceramides-Lipowheat/dp/B004BHAJAE/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t

Here are some comments I found from the above website:

My skin has never looked or felt better. After about a month of taking this product, I have noticed real results that are confirmed by unsolicited positive comments about my skin. I am in month three, and I'm still seeing improvement. Yes, this product was recommended on a popular TV show in combination with topical vitamin C. I typically am skeptical of anything promoted as a miracle. However, there is real science with real research behind this recommendation. If using topical vitamin C on your face, don't cheap out. Go with a trusted brand like Obagi that stays stable and therefore effective.

An unanticipated result of the phytoceramides is that the skin on my entire body is in better condition, not just the skin on my face. I'm a pretty avid swimmer, in the pool for a minimum of one hour five times a week. I no longer use topical lotion on my body and my skin stays hydrated with a healthy looking glow. I also no longer experience tightness and itching in my skin after getting out of the pool.

After increasing my intake of foods containing omega fatty acids such as walnuts, avocados, and fish in combination with this product, my skin couldn't be happier or healthier or better looking.

I find it better to use topically. I cut the tip off a capsule and massage into my skin. it really minimizes lines and gives a healthy and youthful glow to my face.

Retinol Cream (Vitamin A) - 2 oz. + FREE St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Advanced Body Moisturizer Gift Set- retinol cream

took this product according to the directions on the bottle for about 5 months, and it provided barely enough improvement for me to tell a difference.

Then I switched my moisturizer to one called CeraVe Lotion (which contains ceramides) and started using it twice a day on my face, neck, and arms. It made a HUGE difference within a week, more than these pills did in almost half a year! I haven't ordered any more of the pills, because they cost more than a bottle of CeraVe and get used up way quicker.

In a nutshell: Do you want more ceramides for your skin? Then don't swallow them, put them on your skin! There are several brands of good ceramide-based lotion, including some that you can buy cheaply at any drugstore.

Thanks.
