What type of dandruff do you have, seborrhoeic dermatitis or dry scalp or psoriasis? If you don't know, get it examined by a dermatologist or pharmacist as each will respond differently to a product like WEN.

I have the first one. Ive had it checked out by a dermatologist.

Try brushing your son's hair with a boars hair brush!  It does wonders for fly-away hair.

I hated this stuff, I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and my hair was so limp and oily still. My hairs already oily to begin with. Now I only use it on my son to help flatten his chia pet hair haha.
My mom swears by this stuff and her hair looks awesome. Just not for me.

If you ever try this again, you need to work up the 'lather' before letting the product sit on your hair. The action of your hands is what starts the conditioner emulsifying the sebum so it can mix with water and rinse clean. Many people don't need to spend weeks adjusting, my scalp was producing less oil from the first wash tho it took longer to get my techinque down!

I have really oily hair. I don't use any hair products except for dry shampoo which is mineral and clay based, according to the can. I also don't use conditioner except for the very tips of my hairs bc it weighs it down heavily. I left the products in my hair for about 7 minutes and it did have a slight lather afterwords when I rubbed it in really well. Maybe my scalp was overproducing sebum. I just don't think I could deal with weeks of my hair having to adjust for such an expensive product :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />. It made me feel dirty lol.

How on earth did I forget this lol! Since my son was one we've always cut it down to 1/4 inch. He's loved having short hair but this year he's been wanting to grow it out. He's in that awkward stage where it won't go completely down.

I might try this again when I'm on vacation then. That way if it doesn't do the trick I don't have to worry about having nasty hair all day lol.

I have to be really careful when I use this because if you do it wrong, you look like you washed your hair with grease.  I don't go all the way down when I pump.  I use about half a pump and it works better.  If you have very textured or tangled hair this will be great for you.  I adore this shampoo, but it takes too long to use it every day.  My hair usually gets to be a tangled mess halfway through the day, but not after I use this!  It says that you can use a couple of pumps as leave-in conditioner, but that made a mess of my hair.

I got a pretty large sample of this in my QVC test tube, and I really dislike it! It made my hair feel greasy and limp and I think I had to use about 25 pumps since I have pretty long and thick hair. And for the price it's sold at? No thanks!
