I was wondering if Long Wear Gel EyeLiner is really water resistant and won't budge at all in water?? It'd be really helpful if those who have used it in water, answered. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> It's really important to me because in high school we do swimming and I'm extremely insecure and terrified if I dont have makeup on. People have always made fun of me soo,....

So I was just wondering if it's 100% legit. If not, any suggestions of gel liners that last forever even in water???

I haven't tried it but I did read reviews of it and most of them said it smudges easily. So I would say this is not waterproof. There are a lot of other liners claiming to be waterproof though like MUFE Aqua Eyes, Wet n Wild H20 Proof, and Tarte Emphaseyes Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner. Keep in mind that most or all waterproof liners contain ingredients that will irritate sensitive eyes and are almost always difficult to get off at the end of the day.

Hope this helps.

Nothing lasts forever and I've never tried that particular liner but MUFE have some that are waterproof.

I spent most of the summer in BB's gel liners, and I never had a problem with smudging or fading after being in the pool/ocean. I think you'd be okay with it, but I think it would be more beneficial to work on your insecurities about your bare face.

Napoleon perdis China Doll Gel eyeliners are AMAZING! Only ones I have found that stay on and stay put and I have sensitive eyes that water alot in the mornings. But these stay put! Hope this helps.

If I were you and it was really that important to me, I'd get Liquidlast eyeliner in Point Black from MAC. It will not move ~ not in water or through tears or anything. It is tough to get off at the end of the day, so also invest in a good eye makeup remover if you get it.

I use the long-wear gel eye shadow almost every day but I would definitely say it's not a great choice for swimming. Make Up Forever makes an AMAZING liquid eyeliner that's waterproof. I tried drawing a line on my hand just to test the color and tried to scrub it off with soap and water afterward and it DID NOT BUDGE.
