Ok ladies anyone know about bantu knots also known as zulu knots? You know when you wrap your hair around in little buns and it comes out curly? Well lately ive been having trouble with it. I do the bantu knots and the ends dont curl the top and middles does but the ends dont at all. I leave them in all night and the ends still dont curl. I have relaxed hair it works fine when its wet its when its dry that the ends dont curl. Maybe im making the knots too big? i like them kinda tight so as the day goes on the loosen instead of going flat. Any help i have shoulder length hair. How many bantu knots should i do 10,20,more? Plz help lol.

maybe try doing it up while your hair is not wet, but still slightly damp.. and you could try putting a curling cream in it too..

Even though my hair is naturally curly, but I had to do my hair in tighter ringlets for a play i was in...

So I put this cheaper hair lotion in it. It's called Sunsilk, for curly hair. comes in a little green squeeze bottle.

Then i curled my hair up and held them tight on my head with pins.

When I got to the theatre I sprayed my whole head with what ever spray was there.. lol

And then by the time I got my costume on, i was able to take out all my pins and everything and it stayed in place for a whole night of dancing and running around.

I don't know if this story helps you.. but hopefully, maybe
