Basically i have light brown lashes, longish but not too much volume and they are STRAIGHT!

My routine right now is curl with a lash curler, use a waterproof mascara, curl again use a regular mascara -

but the question is do any of the curling ones really work?   I love the dramatic lash look so i'm going for the best volume and length and curl i can get :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Thanks!

Im the same, I always use an eyelash curler then apply coats of mascara because i have thin and straight eyelashes. I havent found a mascara that curls but there are some good ones that give you volume and length... All you need is a good eyelash curler and really good mascara. I use Shu Umera eyelash curler and G Armani Eyes To Kill mascara to acheive that dramatic effect.

Exactly. If you want curled lashes, curl them. That's the bottom line.

are there really differences in eyelash curlers?

I dont mind curling them by any means, i just dont want them to fall after i've done it and sometimes the layering effect makes for spider lashes which i dont like.

People will tell you that you need a $40+ curler. That's complete BS lol As long as it has the rubber on the top and bottom of the inside, it's fine. Just remember to clean it every week and you're good to go.

Well my customers dont use Eyelash curlers and the thing is there is a special technique to doing it what you do is windshield wiper you eyelashes with your Mascara (Holding the wand vertical) left and right untangling your lashes then after youve done that you just roll them out the usual way(Horizontal).
