hey everyone !

so I'm wondering if anyone has used this brand before ? is it used on caucasian textured hair ??

its soo cheap, i was on amazon.com the other day and noticed this brand is like less than $10 ... does it work good ? or work at all ?

I know it works on african american hair, I get my hair treated with the treatment every 6 weeks, and I use this teatree detangler by them, too. I have a mixed friend who uses it, but shes not 100% caucasian. :wassatt: hope that helps a little....

I've heard of it... but never tried it. I saw it mainly associated with African American hair products --- but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. At worst it might be too heavy. :satisfied:

My sister had used Aphogee and it worked miracles on her hair. Our cousin had tried to dye my sister's hair too soon after applying a relaxer and it broke her hair out and damaged it really badly. She started using Aphogee products to strengthen her her and now it is better than it has ever been. The only bad thing is that the product has a bad smell.

You're right about the smell. It smells like rotten egg. I love Aphogee products because I have highlights and it is an excellent conditioner. My stylist won't use them on those who are allergic to egg products.:icon_smil

I have also heard nothing but good things about it...although I have never used it. Yes, it is associated with African American textured hair but I don't think that it would harm your hair. I have been told by several people that the treatment makes your hair very hard while it's in your hair (because of the protein) and you shouldn't try combing while the treatment is in...but don't worry because it is back to normal once you rinse it out.

SIDENOTE: I used to get hung up on not buying products because I didn't think that they were geared towards my African American texture hair but now I have learned to only look at key ingredients and now one of my favorite hair conditioners is one that isn't necessarily marketed for my hair texture-go figure!

I used Aphogee years ago and now that my hair is an absolute mine field right now, I stocked up today and will start using it tomorrow.

It's an excellent product line and like so many other products, I don't think it's just for one hair/ethnic type.

I bought the Treatment (makes hair hard as concrete while on & stinks something awful), Moisturizer, Shampoo & Keratin Conditioner for $15!
