Hey i was wondering if anyone knows a good product and where to get it that's good for smoothing hair and making it look good. i don't heat style but had it highlighted a couple of months ago and my hair is wavy to straight. so some places like the parts that are more wavy and the ends look kind of dry. i've had the ends trimmed not a whole lot but i just want something to make it look better and possibly protect aganist heat too.

Redken Smooth Glide has worked well for me in the past... Have you tried any of the Sexy Hair StraightHair products? I believe that's what it's called...

My hair is naturally wavy and when I want to smooth it down I use a product by AG called Set It Straight. Here's what the description says, "Smoothes and straightens naturally curly or permed hair while providing thermal protection, humidity resistance and outstanding frizz control." I just use a tiny dab and it works well, smells great, and makes my hair really shiny.

thanks ladies, i haven't tried any of that. I do use a leave in conditioner and i was using this spray by frizz ease which seemed to work pretty good, but i noticed on my white shirts they were getting a stain on them. i've had that happen before with another product. I'm also using a spray from pantene, but it's just a treatment. that could had been it too. but it doesn't help with the frizz.

oh, do you get those products at a salon or like walmart or a drugstore? i've seen some bumble and bumble products at cvs.

I use Biolage Leave in Daily-Tonic and then Bed Head Afterparty. My hair is shiney and smooth and not weighed down.

You can get the .5 oz phyto balm on ebay for 5 bucks to try it out. Tigi

Control Freak Serum and John Frieda Dream Creme Instant Silkener - both are good and have no silicones in them. The Freak Serum has one, but its water soluble.
