Hey, well i was trying to let my hair grow out really long again, but from where i got highlights it just needs to be cut. I want to keep it sort of still long, maybe and inch taken off with some more layering. Does anyone know what's still in style for long hair with layers? Any pictures?

whats your hair lenth and texture i know alot of people have the razor cut with pointy ends i liked it on my cousin it was sexy she has straight asian hair tho so it suites her

well the longest part of my hair is a little past my ****s when i have it in the front. its wavy to straight, fine textured but i have a lot of it so it looks thicker. some people say it's thick and some say it's a lot. but i have it layered some in the front but it needs to be cleaned up. i have broken and split ends from the coloring, i hardly ever heat style. i think i know what kind of layering you're talking about. are the ends kind of jaggy like? i saw cameron diaz and jessica simpson with hairstyle like that a few yrs. ago and i like it. but i wasn't sure if it was out of date or if that really matters.

I have a great stylist that does seamless layering for me so you can't tell where the layers start or stop. It looks really good when its straightened and allows you to keep most of the length and just take a little weight and length off in places.

That almost sounds similar to my "cut," except it's just how my hair grew out.
Sweetie, have you checked the "Pics of Your Hair" thread? Lots of us posted pics, and I'm sure there's a chance someone will have a good cut you'd like
