i saw an infomerical on the styler and i think this might be one that i could really use! it did some of the kinkiest, wildest, out of control hair i've seen and with no blowdrying! this styler straigthens, curls, and volumizes! i want to straighten my hair for my birthday (about 3 months away) and was considering going to a salon. with this i could really do it myself! is it too good to be true? anyone have any experiences they want to share?

The Official Kiyoseki Site - Hair Styles

I've never heard of it. What makes it so special according to them? You're almost guaranteed to find a better one at a beauty supply store.

I've learned never to buy anything from an informercial, lol.

All those cool attachments look nice, though... but not even a regular curling iron can curl my hair, so I doubt that can either.

"The Kiyoseki is used by celebrities such as Carmen Electra to get beautiful professional styled hair in their homes. With its 3-in-1 functions, it is more than a simple flat iron, it is the best hair straightener, curling iron, volumizer, because the K-styler’s exclusive ceramic plates combine tourmaline and Kiyoseki minerals designed to release controlled heat and ions to make your hair completely manageable. Now you can have hair styles just like a celebrity every day!"
i want something i can do myself that won't burn my hair. this seemed like a good one. i'm open to any recs as well. i haven't straightened my hair in a couple years, so i'm looking at this as a major purchase.

I finally saw an infomercial last night on that thing. I love how they keep saying mineral over and over, but don't specially say what minerals. At Sally Beauty the brand Ion carries awesome hair straighteners with ceramic plates, tourmaline infused, and ionic technology. As far as I can remember you can adjust the heat setting on them too. Either way you go, I hope you enjoy it!

I've never seen the infomercial but after all the crap my mom gets, i learn to just avoid watching them. They're so tempting!!!

I was gonna post about this to see if anyone has heard of it but you beat me to it. This looks like a really good straightener. I want to get one but I dont wanna spend that much money on it and it turn out to be really crappy. My straightener right now is slowly dying. I would really like to find a good straightener that wont damage my hair since I'm tryin to grow it out. I see the infomercial all the time and every time I see if I want to get it. I want to take that step but I dont want to if it'll ruin my hair. Have you tried lookin up a review besides here to see other people have tried it and liked it?
