During the winter my hair gets dry, because of the cold and the wind (especially the wind where i live, it's a nightmare for your blowdry).
I love coconut oil, it's my favorite oil, but i wanted to try something different this time. So i ordered a sample of baobab oil, which is among other things recommended for hair. I applied a good amount on my lengths (i have combo hair), then decided to apply some as well on my scalp. As i always part my hair the same way and my hair's on the thin side, i thought that part of my scalp would appreciate.
The oil has a fluid consistency and doesn't smell much (mind you, i'm sick, so i can't be a good judge of that).
I went to bed with my oiled hair, and then washed it as usual the next morning. And wow ! My hair's incredibly soft and silky, like after you used a conditioner, and it was really easy to detangle it, i was surprised because lately i was struggling with my lengths.
Yay !! Off to order a full bottle !
(i read this oil also works for dry, cracked skin, and also to help prevent stretch marks, so it's going to be useful !).
