well when i was 20 i found my first grey hair. i was in shock, felt so old. well funny it wasn't that long ago i looked and no more. well yesterday i saw one right next to it. you can't really see them since they're hidden and blend in with my natural highlights. i think it could be from stress and all of the problems that i have. but not sure. it doesn't really bother me, i just wish i knew how to slow it down.

i found my first one when i was like 16 or 17, then not too long ago i found like 6 of them (im 22 now).

i still see them on my head and they just wont go away (my mom greyed early so i obviously got her genetics on this one).

your not alone in the world!

wow, thanks. i had a friend who's brother started going grey i think in his teens too. her mom went grey early. man that sucks. i like my hair color.

Yup, it's definintely not just you! I just turned 19 and recently decided to try and grow out my natural colour, since I've been colouring my hair since I was 16. Well I have almost an inch of roots right now, and last week I was just checking them out in the mirror, and I found a white hair! It was only white the top inch [obviously, since the rest is dyed]... but now it makes me wonder just how many more are hiding there, LOL.

My mother started going grey when she was 16!! But her life was full of stress... I don't think it's genetic, because her mother barely had any grey, even when she was 40-something. My mom's 45 now and probably 75-80% grey, no kidding [she just started colouring it last year] . I really hope I don't end up with her luck, haha.

My boyfriend is turning 21 and he has quite a few grey hairs. When I look at his hair I can see maybe a couple dozen here and there. But he has sooo much hair, it's so thick and curly, and really really dark brown, that you don't notice the greys unless you're really looking.

I noticed my first hair at 20, and now, at 21, I've pulled eight out of my head altogether. :scared: My mom started greying at 23, but she's the only one to have greyed early, so we'll see.
