I've been air-drying my hair now for a week and its in much better condition, the blowdryer is only coming out on special occasions. When I've washed my hair I blot it with the towel and leave a Dove conditioning balm in on mid length. I've got fine slighty wavy hair, it takes about 3 + 4 hours to totally dry which I thought is a long time. Any reasons why it might be taking so long to dry? thanks xxxx

It'll dry faster if you don't put the conditioner on. Mine stays wet for at least half the day, if it have it tied, it'll stay wet for 24 hours! I always have to wash my hair when I get home.

It still takes ages to dry even without the leave in conditioner. It dosen't bother me to much I just wondered why it took so long to dry lol x

I never really air dryed my hair before but started like a week ago. I´d say mine takes like 2-3 hours to fully dry as well. and I usually spray on leave in conditioner as well.

I kinda thought if you had fine hair it dries faster though?

My hair, since it's shorter now, takes about 2 hours to fully air dry. I almost never blowdry it , because i'm such a lazy person...

you might have finer hair in some areas (like around your hairline) but maybe more coarse in the back. It could also be your water, the shampoo/conditioner... etc. The angles/sides of my hair always dry first, and the rest takes a lot longer. If my hair is tied up... it'll stay wet all day

My hair is extremely thick and coarse in some areas and it takes forever to dry. I know a lot of people say Paul Mitchell super skinny serum cuts their blow drying time, I wonder if it works for air drying too.

i have thin hair but it still takes an hour to get my hair to dry fully (i dont own a hair dryer so air drying is all i do).

I use one of those aquis fast drying hair towels. When I take the towel off, my hair is a lot dryer than using the bath towel. After I take it off, I put my leave in conditioner on and it doesnt take more than an hour or so for my hair to dry.

My hair also takes so long to dry, but I wash it in the early evening most times, so it doesn't bother me!
