So ladies, I am sure you ahve all read some amazing beauty and skin care tips on this board or another website. I am sure majority of you ahve even printed out a page or 2 and tried it for your self....No? you didnt?..Oh..yeah..me neither :moa: (I did.) so here comes the question: What worked for you and what hasnt? I am sure our skins all react differently so I am interested. What beauty tips worked for you and what didnt?

what worked for me was: Vitamin A & D diaper rash ointment. Its just like vaseline but much much better.

What didnt work for me: Using eyedrops to remove the red out of a zit. not only did it do nothing, i looked all wet and messy.

My mom uses A&D for everything.

The only thing i can think of that really works is the aspirin mask.

a big lol for the aspirin mask. it doesn't really work for me, and i prefer saving them for headaches.

it is great for lip moisturizer especially when i wash my face, my lips then to dry out and get all tight so if i dont moisturize them fast, they start cracking (ouch)

Same here.....it didnt do squat for my face...notta zip zilch.

Tea tree oil however....has worked WONDERS!

*the Visine tip doesn't work for me either. =[

One thing that was reccommended on here was to use a lactic acid moisturizer on the face to help get rid of old acne marks, and it actually does work! My skin is more even, and it helps keep it soft.

Aquaphor on the lips and dry cracked spots is amazing! So much better than plain old Vaseline.

Ditto!

I like using regular sugar to exfoliate my skin. It makes it nice and smooth. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Rubbing coffee grounds on cellulite (in the shower) also lessens the appearance of cellulite (temporarily). I like to do that before I go to the beach. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Well I tried...........

Baking soda and honey mask - just didn't do anything for me may save some money if

it did work for me, but it's just too messy

Jojoba oil - this majorly irritates my skin. Made my cheeks really red.

Asprin mask - sucked for me. just dried my skin out really bad.

MMU wet - do not like it at all!!! I blended for ever and still looked like I painted a mask on.

Asprin mask!!

I found 2 acnes on my face one under my nose and one my chin (I always get them around my lips), after i did some research, The chemical they use to make asprin is also used for acne treatment. So I did on friday nite and my zits stop growing (usually i get really REALLY big one) and it's all gone by sunday.

Baking Soda!! OMG I cannot believe how soft my skin is!!

I use olive oil to moisturize my face and I love it! I haven't tried baking soda yet, but that's next!!

Oil Cleansing Method...its the only thing that visibly controls my oil, and it leaves my skin looking really healthy and glowy

Aspirin mask did nothing for me. Same thing with the Visine trick - I thought I was the only one that didn't work for!

I do love using baking soda as an exfolient, mixed with my body wash, and using witch hazel as a toner.

shea butter for hair and skin. tea tree oil just makes me smell all minty.vaseline feels like lube its so gross. ive tried mayo for my hair as a conditioner uh... lets just say i wouldnt try that again.
