My biggest fear in life (well one of them atleast) is inhearting the very wrinkly eyelids my mother has (keep in mind she's 60). I am FREAKING out because when I close my eyes, no wrinkles show, but when I open then, there are two lines that look like wrinkles on my eyelids, and I'm 22! How do I prevent more from happening???? I've read posts on how to help wrinkles around the eyes but my concern is specifically the eyelids.

First don't worry so much because the stress of the wrinkles are going to give you more. Follow a good healthy routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing then perhaps find a good wrinkle relaxing type cream. Also eat healthy lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. 8 glasses of water daily and sleep 8 a restful 8 hours a day.

those lines are probably here because your eyelids are a bit dry, i know it happens to me when i didn't put any eyecream on them or am particularly dehydrated.

Was your mom a sun worshipper? If so, then not using sunscreen or not wearing sunglasses could make her lids more wrinkly.

Is it possible that she is using a shimmery eyeshadow - which makes her look like her lids have more wrinkles.

my mom lived in Iraq until she was 28 so she may have been in the sun alot growing up but she really never looked tanned in her pics so i dont think she ever went tanning. I know she didn't go in the sun much when she came to america, she still doesn't.
Nope, she doesnt wear any makeup at all (how am i her daughter) unless she has a party and i do her make up for her.

The only things I can suggest is that you wear sunscreen around your eyes - there are brands that will not irritate your eyes.

If you purchase sunscreen at a drugstore, ask the pharmacist to help you out.

And wear sunglasses as much as possible.

These two things will help prevent sun damage - which is the leading cause of wrinkling.

If you want to go the budget route, try a little tiny bit of vaseline all around your eye at night before bed.
