Dear all,

I've been reading through posts (old and new) on this board about the experiences people have had while getting either a facial or body work. I must say, as an esthetician, it both saddens and angers me that there are other estheticians out there not doing the job properly, resulting in the client being dissatisfied the service. Spa services are not cheap. When the client leaves, they should feel wonderful!

What I want to know is, would it help if something like a "what you can expect / what to be on the look out for" tutorial was put together and posted?

Your thoughts please.

Absolutely! If I knew what to expect, maybe I would go in for a facial in the first place!

i'm an esthetician as well, and i haven't had one service that met my expectations! maybe my expectations are high because i know the experience i want my clients to have. that said, it most certainly would help people to be more comfortable if they knew what to expect. great idea leza!

Definitely! I've never had a spa treatment, and conflicting info would probably scare me into not wanting to go. Have a guide to go by would make it better for me. I could almost "interview" spas first to see what to expect from each one. Great idea Leza!
