I swear that Witch Hazel is cheap and it works. I use to remove makeup too. I also have other toners, like Neutrogena and Lancome, Estee Lauder but I go back to basics good old witch hazel. What about you guys?

Witch Hazel is great for natural looking nails too.. It naturally whitens the free edge of the nail and makes your nail beds more pinky! It's a great investment (well, cheap investment.)

i wanna ask if its a kinda essential oil or sth else?

actually all essential oil contains alcohol ini t so the witch hazel EO ur using now has 70-80% ethanol in it even they didnt show it on the bottle while witch hazel water has 15 % ethanol in it ( from RuthWinter, Dictionaryof CosmeticIngredients)

Witch hazel seems to be too strong for my skin. I think it probabaly has too much alcohol in it. I can't use any toner with alcohol, just too irritating on my skin.

Oh. They should not put alcohol with witch hazel. If they gonna sell it, they should sell it alcohol free so you get the real witch hazel in it.

^They do have an alcohol free version of witch hazel that I use.. its by the brand Thayers and its sold at Whole Foods.

Thanks for the information! Witch Hazel seems a little too drying for my skin though.

Ive heard good things about witch hazel alot but I dont know where they sell it here. I want a new toner since I think Clinique's really doesnt do anything for me. What does witch hazel do exactly? Im willing to try it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Oh my god! It makes your skin feel soooo clean and soft. I use it after my cleanser everyday. I love it.

But yes it does smell kinda icky!

I clean my eyes with an oil based remover use clinique face wash and finish with witch hazel and a green tea serum. The stuff works wonders and doesnt over dry your skin like other astrigents and toners

I used to use witch hazel all the time. If you have normal skin it is excellent, but if you are prone to break-outs it might not be enough for you.

I went to bath and body works today for there rosewater toner and it smelt bad and also cost about 15$....clinques toner is 20$ for a larger size. I think im just going to buy walgreens witch hazel.

I do have dry skin but its getting better with the weather warming up...should i stick with the witch hazel?

sooo. i use the estee lauder perfectly clean toner. but i really dont like the smell. i want one with a fresh smell, not flowery. any suggestions? i have normal skin by the way.
